À travers deux importantes installations sculpturales et une série de moulages, Michael A. Robinson continue sa réflexion philosophique autour de l'idée de la non-subjectivité dans l'art. Fortement inspiré par le suprématisme russe développé par Kasimir Malevitch et son Carré blanc sur fond blanc, Michael A. Robinson questionne depuis plus de 20 ans le rôle de la matérialité de l'objet qui est souvent inséparable de l'idée.

Michael A. Robinson: The Origin of Ideas,
may 8 to june 8, at galerie Antoine Ertaskiran.
Through two important sculptural installations and a series of cast wall panels, Michael A. Robinson displays his philosophical reflections on the idea of non-subjectivity in art. Highly inspired by Russian Suprematist artist Kasimir Malevich and his White on White painting, Robinson has spent 20 years pondering the material aspect of the object, which is often indivisible from its concept.
